Millers earn 2 W's against Fort Wayne Teams

A great morning for some JV Black Miller soccer as they faced off against Carroll.

It was easy to tell from the begining that the entire team was hungry for another win. The first goal was earned from a great corner kick from Clay Janes to Dario Torres. Another goal soon followed with a great connection between Deklan Jenski and Gavin Voglegesang.

The game ended 2-0 in this first of two games for Saturday.

The second game of the JV Black Millers Saturday was versus Homestead, and what a great game it was!

Right from the start, the Millers showed intensity and were hungry for a second win. The defensive line of Jake Hall, Ashton Craig, Vinny Howard and Gavin Voglegesang help create opportunities for the midfield and strikers. In the second half, Vinny Howard was able to connect with Ethan Stonebraker, finding the back of the net for a goal, ending the game 1-0.

Millers rebound with a 3-0 victory over Franklin Central

A cloudy night for some Noblesville Miller JV Black soccer as they face off against Franklin Central!

First half underway and the JV Black boys are all working hard! A great midfield connection between Miles Tucker to striker Ethan Stonebraker lead to a goal. Defensive line players Ashton Craig, Vinny Howard, Gavin Voglegsang, and Jake Hall all worked hard to keep our defensive half safe.

With the second half underway, the JV Black Millers didn’t slow down. An awesome PK strike from Drew Decker and a solid connection from Gavin Voglegsang and Hayden Ferguson lead to another goal, ending the game 3-0.

JV Black falls to the Carmel Greyhounds 2-0

It was a cloudy night for some JV Black Miller soccer as they were on the road for the rescheduled game versus rival Carmel.

First half started out with great intensity. Back line composed of Ashton Craig, Vinny Howard, Noah Handzel, and Adam Eberhart all worked hard to protect Keeper Noel Pena. Good connection through the midfield, and strong efforts from striker Dario Torres, but the Millers were not able to find the back of the net.

Second half underway, movement through midfielders Landon Huber, Miles Tucker, and Noah Adams looked good, but not good enough to find a win.

Carmel found two, ending the match 2-0.

A great sunny night for some JV Black Miller soccer as they face off against rival Hamilton South Eastern

First half started a bit rockey but the defensive back line was able to move and communicate well. A few shots taken but nothing stuck going into the second half, 0-0

Second half started off with a much higher intensity. Great connections through midfield, and a much more composed team. Owen Ott had a corner kick which he was able to connect to Deklan Jenski for a goal! Hamilton Southeastern answered with their own goal in the final two minutes ending the game in a tie

Millers draw with Zionsville in a hard fought, back and forth battle

A sunny day for some JV Black Miller soccer as they were on the road to face rival Zionsville!

A good first half of getting warmed up occurred, and after finding a rhythm, Miles Tucker found Sam Holland for a quick goal. Zionsville was able to answer, going into half tied.

With a new energy about them, the JV Black Millers got going! Miles Tucker was able to find Luke Smith off a corner kick for a nice goal, but once again, Zionsville answered with a goal of their own.

As hard as they tried, the JV Black Millers ended up 2-2 with Zionsville.

Millers beat St. Ignatius (OH), snapping a 2 year winning streak

A beautiful day for some JV Black Millers soccer as your team was on the road to face off against St Ignatius.

First half started off a bit rockey for your JV Black Millers. Passes weren’t connecting, and St Ignatius was looking like they were going to run away with the win. After a quick half time, the team came together and quickly turned up the pressure to show St Ignatius what it means to be a Miller. Two goals from Sam Holland, assisted by Luke Smith and Pavlos Michealoff created a lead. The defensive line for the Millers held strong, but let a goal in with only Five seconds remaining, ending the game, 2-1. A great effort by both teams.

Millers win at the final kick on their Pink Out Night

Another great night for some JV Black Miller soccer as they faced Westfield.

A quick paced first half had lots of good to be seen. Chemistry between the back defensive line of Ashton Craig, Vinny Howard, Gavin Voglegsang and Luke Odle kept keeper Noel Pena safe from shots. Midfield worked hard, but weren’t able to connect for a goal this first half.

Second half underway, and the same energy was brought. Midfielders Luke Smith, Miles Tucker, Blake Horn and Owen Ott played a great half, but it was Adam Eberhart who scored the winning goal with only 35 seconds remaining.

Millers beat crosstown Noblesville rival Guerin Catholic

A great night for your JV Black Millers to face off again rival Guerin Catholic!

1st half underway, and with tons of action! Goals from Sam Holland, Miles Tucker, Pavlos Michealoff, Ethan Stonebraker, and Luke Smith all helped contribute to a nice 6-0 start by half.

2nd half came with the same energy, goals from Pavlos Michealoff and Gavin Voglegsang, ended the game in an 8-0 victory.

Millers win a nail biter against Fishers

A great night for playing rival Fishers, your JV Black Millers did not disappoint!

First half both teams came out strong. Solid connection from midfielders Hayden Ferguson, Drew Decker and Dom Fisher. Defensive line players Ashton Craig, Vinny Howard, Gavin Voglegsang, and Noah Handzel worked well together helping create more for the midfield.

Second half underway, and your Millers had some work to do. Early on, Luke Smith put up the first goal to energize the Millers. A great save by Cole Thompson kept the Millers ahead 1-0, winning the game!

Millers start their HCC schedule strong with a win against Avon

It was one hot night for your JV Black Millers as they defended home against Avon.

A quick pace in the first half lead to 5 goals! Luke Smith with three, Sam Holland and Quinn Davis both with one. Great assists from Landon Huber, Noah Adams, and Sam Holland made these possible. Solid defense from the back line of Luke Odle, Gavin Vogelgesang, Ashton Craig, and Vinny Howard created great opportunities for the entire team.

Second half started slower, both teams gassed from the heat, but Noblesville managed to get another goal scored by Ethan Stonebraker ending the game 6-0.

Millers get the W in the interstate battle with Olentangy Liberty

A great day for a road trip with the JV Black Millers as they were off to face Olentangy Liberty on this hot day.

1st half underway and both teams were hungry for the win, matching goals by the end of half, the teams sat at 1-1 thanks to a goal by Landon Huber assisted by Vinny Howard. A great effort from the defensive line consisting of Luke Odle, Gavin Voglegsang, Ashton Craig, and Vinny Howard.

2nd half starts and the JV Black Millers had a renewed energy as seen by wing Luke Smith and forward Sam Holland. Luke Smith was able to connect with Landon Huber creating Huber’s second goal of the day to end the match 2-1.

JV Black open the season strong with a dominant 9-0 win against Greenfield - Central

It was the season opener for your JV Black Millers soccer program, and they were ready to hit the ground running.

1st half starts quickly with great pace from all leading to goals from Luke Smith (2), Pavlos Michealoff, Dom Fisher. Great defensive play from the back line of Luke Odle, Gavin Voglegsang, Vinny Howard, and Ashton Craig.

2nd half starts equally as quick with great midfield movent leading to a quick five goals, one from Pavlos Michealoff, three from Ethan Stonebraker and a final own goal from Greenfield-Central to end the match.
