The Millers were up against Plainfield today for their third game of the season.
Quickly into the game, Freshman Brady Frayer scored a goal after continued pressure from Noblesville. This pressure continued in the first half, with the Millers getting a plethora of chances. However, Plainfield held the Millers to a 1-0 scoreline throughout.
The second half was more of the same. The Millers had a lot of looks at goal, but couldn’t find the back of the net. That changed with about ten minutes left in the match, when freshman Quinn Johnston and Vince Cash each scored within five minutes of each other.
The Miller midfield and backline were held together today by sophomore Keller Willis and Blake Horn. Both goalkeepers, Dugan Webster and Cooper Miller helped keep the shutout for their third win of the season.
The team is at Avon on Tuesday for a match on the south side of Indianapolis.
