The NHS Boys soccer program is working on increasing their fundraising game. Our main goal is to turn our program into the elite program in the state, both on and off the field. In order to do that, we have to look the part and have the best equipment for training. One of our main goals in the next year or two is to purchase covered benches to replace the low-grade benches we currently have. This is where you, the community member, come into play. There are many ways to help the program with funds, some that we have done in the past and others that are new:
Purchase Miller Soccer Gear. Along with the great scarves we have been selling for the past year or so, the program will now be selling off used game jerseys, warmups, jackets and accessories like car decals. All proceeds will go directly to the program. Items will be added throughout the summer. Get these items while they last!
We will be scheduling community nights at local restaurants and stores. You can get a great meal or buy gifts for your family, all while helping out the program. Thanks to Kathy Anderson for setting up our first night at Evereve in Hamilton Town Center. The date is still TBD but it will happen sometime this summer. Once we finalize the date, you won’t want to miss it!
Become a Kroger Community Rewards Member. Our Team # is 78089 when registering. A percentage of your grocery bill is donated directly to the program. It couldn’t be any easier!
Make purchases on the NHS School Athletic Site. Just like the Kroger benefits, a percentage of the purchase cost will be donated to NHS athletics, which NHS boys soccer will then get a cut. Many of the items available are items you would already be purchasing, so why not feed two birds with one scone (PETA approves of this new lingo)?
If you aren’t up for the whole shopping thing, you can still help out the program. Monetary donations are greatly appreciated and you will be publicly acknowledged for your generosity at White River Soccer Complex this upcoming Fall.
