Millers lose their 2nd game of the 2021 campaign, this time to rival Carmel

The Millers were back in action tonight against a county rival, Carmel. It was played at the beautiful field at the Hallmark Orthodontics Soccer Complex.

The first half was dead even between both teams. Defenders Deklan Jenski, Jake Hall, and midfielder Owen Ott had great halves. They controlled the ball and created a lot of chances for the Millers.

The second half started off well for the Millers, with shots on goal and some sorely missed chances by the Millers attack. The Carmel breakthrough came about 20′ into the second half as they broke down the Millers defense for the first time of the match. As they team pressed to equalize, Carmel scored a second off of a corner kick.

They are playing again on Wednesday at Zionsville.
