Millers push their winning streak to 5 with a 3-0 win over Brebeuf

The 3A #1 Millers traveled to the north side of Indianapolis to take on the 2A Brebeuf Braves on Thursday. The Millers dominated possession throughout the first half, but were not able to find the back of the net until the 33rd minute. The first Miller goal was scored by Brady Horn on a corner kick taken by Brayden Doll. Six minutes later, Andreas Michaeloff scored his first varsity goal for the Millers, with an assist by Matthew Morris. In the second half, the Millers third goal was scored by Palmer Ault on a shot chipped in past the keeper. The assist came from a free kick taken by goalkeeper Gabe Ingle.

The Millers once again had a solid performance from their midfielders, led by Brayden Doll, Michael Crandley, Jake Johns, and Matthew Morris. The midfield played a pivotal role in the game against the Braves with solid ball movement throughout the middle and offensive third. Vinny Howard made his first varsity appearance for the Millers, and Ashton Craig contributed a solid performance in his second varsity game.

The Miller man of the match and winner of the championship belt was Andreas Michaeloff. After the game, Michaeloff said, "It was a hard fought win tonight, but I'm happy we were able to get the win and the clean sheet. It feels good to get this one."

The Millers face some tough competition in the coming days, with a game on Saturday at 3A #8 North Central, and a game Tuesday at 3A #3 Fishers.
